Leadership

We here at Faith Community Baptist Church are committed to putting forth, by

faithful study of the word of God and implementation of that word, a Biblical view of

church leadership. We believe that Biblical leadership is a gift of Christ to His church

for her encouragement in the word, care end protection.

  • Jason Montgomery

    Pastor

What a joy it is for me to serve as the pastor of Faith Community Baptist Church. By God's great grace, along with several other precious brothers and sisters in Christ, we started FCBC, December of 1998. I did my graduate work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where I received a Master of Divinity degree in which I concentrated in Biblical languages, primarily New Testament Greek. I am currently enrolled again at Southwestern, now in the doctoral program pursing a degree in Historical Theology/Church History with a focus in Baptist studies. My intended area of dissertation study is 18th century English Particular Baptists. I have been blessed for over 26 years being married to my wife, Janice. We have seven wonderful and very busy children: Timothy (now married to Cady and living in Washington state), Katie (a senior music major at Dallas Baptist University), Nathan (a freshman at the College at Southwestern majoring in Humanities), Benjamin, Abigail, Averie, and Bethany.

  • John Neely

    Deacon

My name is John. My family and I have been a part of FCBC since its beginning in 1998. I was ordained to serve as a deacon in September of 2001. I received my BS in pharmacology in 1966. I have worked as a RPh for forty-six years. My wife, Lovera and I are guardians of our great-granddaughter Hayley. We have six children, ten grandchildren, and three great-granddaughters.

  • Tate Troyer

    Deacon

Hello, my name is Tate Troyer. My wife, Stephanie, and I have been attending Faith Community Baptist Church close to 10 years, along with our three daughters, Hannah, Brinkley, and Allison. We cherish the biblical principles that are taught here and we know that God has a plan for our church. Serving as a deacon has enabled my family to serve God in tangible ways within the church. I pray that God will continue to grow his church until Christ’s return.

  • Paul Thomas

    Deacon

Hi, my name is Paul, and I count it an extreme privilege to serve as a deacon in Faith Community Baptist Church. My wife Venus and I have had the opportunity to love and be loved within this community of Christ for over 15 years, and along with our two wonderful children cherish growing up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body grows so that it builds itself up in love.
